National Gallery of Art, Washington DC - Photography

This is a personal photography project on the national Gallery of Art in Washington DC, showcasing the buildings as well as some of my favorite pieces in their collection. All digital, taken with a Canon 5D MarkIII.

I grew up in Washington DC and spent a lot of time at the National Gallery, it's one of my favorite places in the world. The collections inside are amazing, and the buildings are beautiful. The Gallery is divided in two wings, the old and the modern. The old wing is a neo-classical building and the modern wing a sleek angular building. The two buildings are connected underground by a passage that looks like a set from a 60s science fiction movie.
