I designed Juliette & Chocolat’s 2021 Advent Calendar, from the initial idea to the final product, including the cover and inside illustrations, working with the printer to produce the die line, and with another subcontractor for the thermoformed tray inside with the cavities that hold the chocolate bonbons.
The theme is Santa’s chocolate workshop: the outside of the box shows Santa’s village at the North Pole, and the Calendar opens up to reveal the elves at work inside the Chocolate Lab hidden deep in the mountain.
I worked with the Juliette & Chocolat Chocolate Lab to define the chocolate bonbons inside the calendar to mirror the Calendar’s theme; the bonbons offered the consumer an exploration of textures and flavors, including several chocolates, praline, dried fruits and more.
